Creative Arts Experience
About
The Creative Arts Experience (CAE) engages students in the fine arts at Baylor by providing enriching programs in art, music, theatre, film, and literature. Students attending CAE’s will:
- Foster artistic literacy and human empathy by exposing students to a wide variety of creative arts events on the Baylor campus and with Baylor-sponsored programs.
- Allow for maturation and growth in a student’s appreciation of creative arts events through immersion over an extended period of time.
- Develop a student’s understanding of the norms of interaction at creative arts events in order to encourage lifelong patronage of the arts.
A&S students, falling under the 2019-2020 catalog and later, shall attend at least 12 CAE events during their time at Baylor in order to graduate, with at least 2 being from each of the 5 event types. BIC students have different requirements. More information, including transfer student waivers, is available at the CAE website and from your advisor.
